Founder of iPlanus, an industrial engineering startup company born in Lisbon in 1975, Mechanical Engineer by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, started his activity in Bosch Termotecnologia, in 1999, as a trainee, having developed as technical project leader for the manufacturing launch of several products and later as group leader of the manufacturing engineering team. In 2005, makes his first international assignment, in the Czech Republic, as manufacturing and technical responsible for two production plants. In November 2008, moves from CZ to Germany, to Bosch Thermotechnik headquarters, working as senior engineer in the Manufacturing Coordination department. In 2010, returns to Portugal, as technical director of Bosch Thermotecnologia. In April 2013, takes over the overall plant responsibility, as Plant Manager and in 2015 becomes Vice-president for manufacturing in the board of the Bosch business unit for water heating appliances. After leave Bosch, in January 2017, he founds iPlanus, an industrial engineering startup company. His experience with workplace innovation was shown in one of the video’s by the EUWIN-network.
